I'm not sure if you know much about Birma and their cuisine. You can learn more here
http://www.mandalayway.com/restaurant/cuisine.html

I can only say it's really DELICIOUS - when I'm in London you wouldn't believe how many curries I devoured there.

But it's not only about the food - but it is also about the pepole and their hearts. I bet you would be much happier at Mandalay that any posh restaurant in London [ you have zillions of them as the British are too lazy to cook ;) ]. Not to mention that your budget won't suffer much as Mandalay:
'Time Out recognised all the hard work and quality provided by awarding their 'Best Budget Meal' award to Mandalay in 1996.

Mandalay Restaurant is well known all over the world, receiving favourable reviews and write-ups at regular intervals. They appear in various magazines, food guides and even newspapers - from New York to New Delhi, Oslo to Tel Aviv, Tokyo to Auckland and many in between.'

I can give you a free piece of advice - try RAW PAPAYA & CUCUMBER --- TIN-BAW-THEE THOAT - I was pretty scared whey I was offered it but it was simply DELICIOUS.
